Free online courses from leading universities

I already have registered at online courses which be provided by edX. The edX is a not-for-profit enterprise of its founding partners Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology that features learning designed specifically for interactive study via the web. It provides many courses such introductory to solid state chemistry, circuit and electronics, introduction to computer science 1, introduction to computer science and programming, software as a service, artificial intellegence, and quantitative methods in clinical and public health course.

I took quantitative methods in clinical and public health course (PH207x). It will be started on October 15th, 2012. This course can be helpful for me as a pharmacist to get better understanding in clinical data analysis. Beside the course is free, it also give us certificate of mastery for free. Certificate will be given if we achieve the passing grade in the course. The course is organized into weeks, and each week will have its own set of assignments. Students will be expected to complete their homework each week. This course is flexible in time. We can watch the lectures at our leisure. Lecturers for PH207x come from Harvard University, i.e. Prof. E. Francis Cook and Prof. Marcello Pagano. I think it will be good and fun :) So, come and join us, guys!

Aside from getting the wonderful knowledge, we can also meet the other professional practitioners from other countries in discussion group. The edX create a discussion group via http://www.meetup.com/edX-Community/. It's really excited for me to start this course soon ;) If you want to have further information, please visit the edX website at https://www.edx.org/courses.

See you on the next post. Hope this post will be useful for you :)
